I am an abstract figurative painter whose practice explores a dreamlike realm of overlap between digital spaces and physical landscapes.

My work is influenced by an upbringing in southwest Florida in the 2010s, speaking to my experience of girlhood amid online hyperconnectivity, and a visually rich natural environment. 

Paintings begin with transferring digital composites onto textured layers of gesso, and are developed freely through many passes of transparent and thick oil paint. Built-up areas are imprinted with hand-carved linoleum stamp patterns, and scraped away. Physical forms of vulnerability are revealed and fossilized through an exploration of process and material.
