The elegance and fluidity of the Betta fish have always fascinated me. My artistic focus has been to capture the movement of these Siamese fighting fish using various materials. Creating sculptures inspired by them has reignited my passion for gesture and color. Their graceful form serves as a constant motivation for me as an artist, their flowy and graceful shape correlates with my work and attitude. I am amazed by the Betta fish because despite their soft, whimsical appearance, they behave very aggressively towards other fish. That juxtaposition is so alluring.
